Common Store Signs
Some of the most common store signs you will see used by our customers are shown here. The signs that will be discussed in this article range from metal signs to wood signs of all shapes and sizes. These signs are created using various materials and techniques. Depending on what type of business you run, different types of signs can be beneficial to you and your business. This post gives examples on the different kinds of signs and what materials they are made from.
Flex Face Signs
Flex face signs are made with an extremely strong banner material as a base and vinyl cut to the design laid on top. Then the sign is installed onto the frame. The image to the left is a finished product on display. The image to the right is the same sign being worked on in the shop. See employee, Frank, at the top left. Aluminium Signs
Aluminum signs are made by printing directly onto aluminum panels. The panels are then installed on the steel frame using rivets. The sign on the right was installed by the customer themselves. The sign on the left was made for Action Suzuki at 3010 I-30, Mesquite, TX 75150. The sign on the right is for Petromax Operations, 603 Main St #201, Garland, TX 75040
Mixed Material Signs
The sign to the left is made by attaching aluminum on top of wood posts. The image is printed directly to the aluminum. The sign is then installed onto posts at the location. This was made for Café on the Green at Garland Rd, Dallas, TX 75218, located in the Dallas Arboretum.
Design Cut Wood Signs
Design cut signs are made from a weatherproof board. The panel is cut to the desired scale. is Vinyl is laid on top of the wood. This was made for Loch Loma Apartments located at 220 S Marsalis Ave, Dallas, TX 75203
Gemini Lettering
Gemini lettering is plastic letters that can be a very effective look for your business. Installations include either flush mount or standoff. Gemini letters provide a lifetime warranty, excluding weather damage. Either one of these can be installed by drilling holes into the wall.
